“All these with one accord devoted themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.” (Acts 1:14)
The friars and nuns live in separate cloisters, where they observe community life among themselves: prayer, meals, the apostolate, and the Eucharist are normally community events, regulated by the daily schedule.
While the friars live separately from the nuns, however, the two branches of the community have many opportunities pray, work, and share with one another: Mass, the meditated Rosary in adp-vv groups of prayer, parish missions, pilgrimages, community retreats, formation lectures, and community meals are just a few of the many ways that they are able to come together to build the kingdom of God.
